We are able to quilt your quilt top, batting, and backing on our Gammill Longarm Quilting Machine with a Statler Computer program. With over 3,000 patterns to choose from, you will be able to find the perfect pattern to complement your quilt. Longarm Quilting Machines for Rent
We now have two Janome Artistic Quilting Machines which are available for you to rent so that you may do your own longarm quilting. You can be qualified to rent these machines by meeting the Requirements for Renting below.
Requirements for Renting:
You must take the Longarming: A Technical Exploration in Free-Motion Quilting class at AZ Vac & Sew/Eagles Wings Quilting and show proficiency in use prior to renting a machine. This group class is taught monthly by Gary. We also offer this as a private class, which is scheduled upon request.
Renting a Longarm:
- Three hours Minimum Rental, at $25.00/hour. The rental fee must be paid at the time of the reservation and is non-refundable.
- Your quilt must be removed from the longarm machine within 30 minutes after your allotted time. This will allow the staff adequate time to prepare the longarm machine for the next reservation.

Tips for the Best Finished Projects:
Batting that is sold on the roll ALWAYS produces a better quilt. If you purchase batting that is folded up in a bag, not only will it have permanent creases, but it will also have been compressed on one end and stretched on the other. You MAY be able to improve these conditions by fluffing your folded previously batting in a low-heat dryer with a moist cloth and a clean flip-flop before bringing it in with your top and backing.
